Starting at the venerable Oxford University Press (top left) - moving to San Francisco and then on to Los Angeles was a journey I never could have imagined. Finding myself in places and with people I would never have dreamed of. From starting out designing scientific textbooks and ending up creating flashy television graphics was an interesting trip. Going from Linus Pauling to Alice Cooper doesn't seem to make sense but somehow it worked. Then there was the army - more about that somewhere else.

The clip above is a compilation of snippets of motion graphics created starting back in the early pre-computer days through to very computer intensive 1992. We did so many graphics that I felt that our work was disposable - so I kept very little. We were on the bleeding edge of this business, but it moves so fast that you’re old news in about 5 minutes.
